Shipwreck Rewards

We are currently seeking the GPS locations of two shipwrecks

F.J. King | Reward $2,000

With a load of iron ore bound for Chicago, the F.J. King sprang a leak and sank on September 15, 1886 in a heavy southeast gale in 25 fathoms of water. The skipper gave a location of, "just east of Cana Island, 5-6 miles south of Rowley's Bay."

John Evenson | Reward $500

This tug boat, built in 1884 sank in the Spring of 1898 after colliding with the steamer, I Watson Stevenson. "While taking the steamer in tow , the Evenson got tangled in the line and was drawn across the big ship's bow. She was rolled over and sank in 300 ft. of water." Her location is belived to be between Algoma & Sturgeon Bay, WI. According to www.greatlakeshistory.com she's about 5 miles north of Ahnapee, WI.
